Sean Hannity clarified his position on immigration reform Friday after President Barack Obama cited him while discussing the contentious issue at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institutes annual gala on Thursday.
In 2012, Latinos voted in record numbers. The next day, even Sean Hannity changed his mind and decided immigration reform was a good idea, Obama said to applause.
But Hannity took umbrage and argued on Friday the president misrepresented his position.
Thats not what I said, Hannity rebutted. Interview after interview, Ive said what Ive said for years: secure the border first. And I said, this is being used as a weapon by the left and take it out of their hands by securing the borders, and then you deal with the 11 million people after. And no one has ever supported, ever, executive orders, which is what hes planning.

Hannity now says "deal with" the 11 million people after, but back then he was a little more specific: "...you create a pathway for those people that are here, you don't say you gotta go home."
