The newest Ebola scare in the Dallas area involves a Dallas County sheriff’s deputy named Michael Monning (or Michael “Monnig”) who was sent into Thomas Duncan’s apartment earlier this month:

I just heard that also on the radio. Fox news said that they are waiting for the confirmation to this story.

and yet the family who slept in the same beds, hugged and kissed Duncan and probably shared a bathroom with him is not showing symptoms?

The patient was identified as Sgt. Michael Monnig, a deputy who accompanied county health officials Zachary Thompson and Christopher Perkins into the apartment where Thomas Eric Duncan stayed in Dallas.
Which makes me wonder if there’s some sort of genetic susceptibility some people have that others don’t. But I’m no doctor...

They are from Africa and may have better immune systems when it comes to fighting off Ebola. At any rate, they are definitely in denial mode. Ebola is the shark in Jaws.

This guy new the family had been exposed to Ebola. That is why he was there. I doubt he touched anything.
