Today Women Speak Out PAC, partner of the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List), launched an 11-day, $620,000 television ad campaign in the Raleigh, North Carolina media market to expose Senator Kay Hagans position on abortion.
kayhaganThis hard-hitting television campaign is air support for our extensive ground game. To date, our field team has knocked on more than 104,000 doors and made more than 245,000 phone calls to turn out pro-life voters who dont typically vote in midterm elections, said Women Speak Out PAC President Marjorie Dannenfelser.
The ad featuring Ned and Rebecca Ryun and their daughter Charlotte focuses on Kay Hagans refusal to support the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, popular legislation to limit abortion after five months more than halfway through pregnancy.
Senator Hagans support for taxpayer funded abortion and late term abortion after five months flies in the face of mainstream North Carolinians who, like the majority of all Americans, support this compassionate legislation to protect women and their babies from late abortion, said Tami Fitzgerald, WSO North Carolina State Director.
Polling released yesterday shows that 59 percent of undecided voters who care about the abortion issue are pro-life. Our efforts could make the difference for pro-life Thom Tillis in this race.

How do people who care for life sit out when someone like Kay Hagen is running and for murdering babies!
Because politicians are flawed, and some have a one-agenda item, so they would rather sit it out than overlook a viewpoint they don’t agree with. It’s actually very simple. Some demand purity when they themselves aren’t perfect - sort of take the toothpick out of someeone else’s eye, when they have a telephone pole in their own type of thing. So, they sit out - and allow this country to sink further into the pits of hell.
Kay Hagan LOOOOOOVES dead babies.
Does anyone have a sense of how the Hagan-Tillis debate went last night?
