Well the Dems would accept him, because he really is one of them.

You make a good point about the Republicans if they win the majority - they shouldn’t accept him in their caucus, though I’m not sure if they could stop that.

Sure, accept him into the Repub caucus...Sit him in a corner, never appoint him to any committees and don’t let anyone ever go to lunch with him...
