The White House rejected criticism from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a withering response on Monday, accusing him of refusing to acknowledge how much help the United States has been to Israel over the years.
A long-time split between President Barack Obama and Netanyahu appeared to widen further after the Israeli leader's visit to the White House last week.
Netanyahu, on the CBS program "Face the Nation" on Sunday, said U.S. criticism of an Israeli move for a new Jewish settlement in East Jerusalem was "against American values."

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I’d take President Bibi over pResident Obola in a heartbeat.
FUBO!!
So Obama is saying because in the past Republicans were friends with Israel, the Israelis have no right to criticize Democrats who hate Israel and want it destroyed.
accusing him of refusing to acknowledge how much help the United States has been to Israel over the years.
just not the Obama years
Bibi yes.
The Obamadork/velon/compost heap/POS/and general fly drawing sewage...NO!
The two men have detested each other virtually since day one.
If this isn’t the last straw, leading my fellow Jews to vote GOPtp (*and* GOPe, now that we are post-primary), I don’t know what it will take, other than a Iranian-supplied mushroom cloud over Israel.
Obama may curse Israel, but a hundred million or two hundred million Americans rise up on the side of the I AM and His people, who received the land as their inheritance. Israel is Forever, and those who bless it are blessed!
Well heck, I can’t imagine why Obama doesn’t reflect American values? Of course he doesn’t.
Josh Earnest is a Valley boy.
Mr. Netanyahu does recognize how much the U.S. has supported Israel over the years. That it why it is so easy for him to see that the Obama malAdministration does NOT support Israel.
Jews and the Democratic Party are one!
2012 DNC convention platform - says that Jerusalem is not considered to be the capitol of Israel.
Obama fought for it to be included in the platform.
I thought at the time - Why would that be so important to Obama that he would risk a floor fight over it?
If you remember, it was at the same time that Obama tried to get any reference to God thrown out of the platform also, but there were just enough people who did not like that so Obama had to acquiesce on that one. However the extraction of Jerusalem got passed.
Question is why did Obama do this?
By the way, CBS edited out Netanyahu’s critical comments on the on-air show. It’s only seen in the Web video. CBS: All the news that’s fit to manipulate!
Had we real leadership, this situation would never
have come about. Certainly this type of school yard
response would not happen.
A reasoned response is called for but it’s not something
we will get from the liberal “leadership”, it’s not in
their game book.
Obviously, barry has confused Bibi with Reggie,Bibi ain’t no ones bitch!
An obstinate God-hating, oath-breaking man would do that.
And he is the president of our country.
