So who delivered Moooochelle’s kids???

A midwife in Kenya???

OTOH—a couple of months ago, from a station in San Francisco: A very long time lady evening anchor:

She was talking about the storms about to hit Hawaii.....and she called the large city on the east end of the big island.......High Low-—Not HEEE Low.

If I had had their phone number, I would have called her on it.

Just this AM—a few minutes ago, a city north of Madison, Wisconsin, was referred to by the ABC weather guy:

He called that place VIR’- oh-qua

It is Vur-O’-qua.

I know there are a great many Indian names all across the country.

Maybe these people should get their words straight. I might believe them about their comments a little more.

Obama must be the reason the joke is so prevalent in Cambridge, MA.

A guy is a convenience store in Cambridge in the 12 items or less checkout. The guy has 24 items.

The clerk asks “Do you go to MIT and cannot read or do you go to Harvard and cannot do math?

Really if Obama is a Harvard graduate he should be able to speak without sounding like a total dolt. But what do you expect from the smartest man in the world. Smartest what a joke.

Probably because in Kenya—where he was born—they are called Midwives-—or ‘Auntie Maxelsewse.

Concessions were made—war was avoided.

So we're told.

There were many who thought Reagan was going to start a war by going into Granada (Grenada?) and kicking the Soviets out.

Not you, of course. Others.

Given Jessie’s history with the ladies, I’m pretty sure he’s familiar with the acronym “Ob/Gyn”

Yes, but given his history with bath houses, I doubt Obola is.

With such a mastery of healthcare, we can only have confidence in his similar mastery of Obamacare and Ebolacare. /s

Soon it might well be that CORPSMEN attend to OBEE-GUY-KNEES infected with EBOLEE in all 57 American states.

Verrry serious.

Reminds me to bone up on my pronunciation of the language of AUSTRIAN.

The more ‘professional’ newspeople have become, the less they know about anything except being PC.

Geography, history, grammar; it’s all foreign to them. Even small town media have anchors and reporters earn their chops by doing character assassinations of conservatives.

My wife has been an RN a long time, and never heard the Obama pronunciation.

**He misspeaks often, but that designation is often used in medicine.**

With that pronunciation?

"He misspeaks often, but that designation is often used in medicine. He gets a pass on this one."

===================================> Its funny to me is how he says it.

Like his "smartest-man-in-the-room" routine.

He probably refers to UCLA as “Uck-Luh.”

Yes. With that pronunciation. I’ve been a doc for longer than I want to think about sometimes, and that pronunciation is not uncommon. It’s just medical slang. I didn’t hear him say it, and he may have used some strange voice inflection etc., but this isn’t one of his many huge gaffs.

He clearly thinks he is, consistent with the narcissist he is. He drips arrogance.

"Mark Levin talked about this last week. He was cracking up. I thought it was hysterical, too. But according to my wife, some people say “guy-knee.”

That was so funny! Every time Levin laughed, I laughed harder!

I’m pretty sure Washington state talking heads now get an intensive boot camp on how to pronounce places like Sequim and Puyallup. After some hilarious moments in the past, things have settled down quite a bit.
