A patient who was evaluated for Ebola at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., does not have the disease, according to the DC Department of Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The Patient had traveled to Nigeria recently.
That person was admitted to the hospital in stable condition and was isolated. The hospital continues to treat the patient for other illnesses.
In a White House briefing Friday, Sylvia Burwell, the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, said of the Howard case, "What you see are people taking precautions."
There are no confirmed cases of Ebola in D.C., said the statement.
Meanwhile, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland, said a patient that had been tested for possible Ebola does not have the disease.

You can believe Sylvia or not. It’s up to you. How much do YOU trust this government?
So happy no one else has Ebola. But I don’t necessarily believe it.
Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!
Bring Out Your Dead
Were gonna need
a bigger cart!
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
So I went out and bought some chlorox today. Not sure why.
I wonder how long we will have to endure this reporting of every single complaint, before the media will start waiting until it is identified as Ebola before reporting it?
It's a good idea, in case the CDC needs some, because they forget to bring it. You might also want to stock up on various government permits, because they forget to file those too.
Better test him again in a few days - remember, ‘Dallas Duncan’ wasn’t finally diagnosed until his 3rd trip to a hospital - and then there’s this: -

excerpt: “he hospital’s director, who had diarrhea and was vomiting repeatedly, but tested negative for the Ebola virus....When the director didn’t respond to treatment, a second test was done, which came back positive. That was 10 days after his first test. “

Me too. Duct tape next. Emergency water supplies on order. We don’t know what’s coming next. Y2K all over agin.
They need to develop a critical window for post-exposure testing.
But they appear to be too ignorant to get it.
Too bad. I’d like the ‘elites’ to get a taste of things.
Must remember not to vomit .. Anywhere anytime.. In public or on social media.. Or you become Breaking News..
15 minutes ain’t what it used to be..
I think Joe Biden is walking proof of what foreign exposure to stuff can do. Seriously.
To scrub that “so” off the beginning of your sentence.
A better question is how long before we don’t see threads on FR until it’s confirmed in any individual case.
I’ve made a mental note to be as discreet as possible in public rest room stalls. No more “that’ll give ‘em something to think about!” as I flush.
LOL
Saudi Arabia is not letting in people from the infected countries.
The Democrats are going out of their way to insist that our borders are wide open
LOL, I didn’t think of that, that does sound like the more direct and quicker fix.
ANOTHER PERSON DOESN’T HAVE EBOLA, THIS TIME IN LOS ANGELES, AND THERE ARE TWO OF THEM!!!!
I guess I can still travel to Gaithersburg.
Combined General and Maryland "Freak State" PING!
