Rumors of a military coup in North Korea persist as leader Kim Jong-un's prolonged absence from public view continues. Kim has not been seen in public for a month, leading to rumors that a military coup has broken out in North Korea and Kim has been arrested. Other rumors have it that Kim has gout or has suffered a sort of stroke just as his late father, Kim Jong-il, did in 2008.

The US is aware of the reports. "I can just say that I have no confirmation of the reports. We've seen them, but we don't have any confirmation," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters Monday after a regular briefing. She declined to discuss the issue any further.

The government knows that you confirmed an appointment with your dentist yesterday morning, but it doesn’t know what is going on at the highest level of leadership in North Korea.

And the today the No. 2 and 3 NORK leaders flew into Inchon and had two meetings with the ROK PM. Both grinning from ear-to-ear in all the photo opps.

That wouldn't have happen if Fatboy wasn't on ice or at room temperature.

For what I is worth here is my opinion:

1. If it is a coup then it has been sponsored by the Red Chinese.

2. It therefore follows that the chance that this could be a South Korea friendly coup is ZERO.

3. The likely outcome if it is indeed a coup: Out with the young, the not too bright and In with the somewhat older, much more ruthless Chinese loyalist.

I'm sure Obola is doing what he can to stabilize the regime.

Maybe he’s hiking the Appalachian Trail. They should send people with photos of him to show to the through hikers and ask if anyone has seen him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the ChiComs and the SoKos have been in cahoots for awhile to figure out a solution to the “North Korea Problem.”

Everything in the so-called DPRK happens with Red China’s blessing or involvement.

Thank God, we have been spared further embarrassment as Americans by Dennis Rodman keeping a low profile for now. Of course, the holidays are approaching, so there will be all manner of excuses for him to fly his circus over to North Korea for parts 2 and 3 of this bizarre friendship.

If its true that Dear Eater bumped off his uncle, some family and others then perhaps a little karma showed up for some payback. Karma is rarely instant but it eventually does show up.

Then again the illness may be a ploy to flush out those perceived to be disloyal to the regime. In this case Kim miraculously recovers due to his “supreme intelligence” and then the next round of executions follow.
