The population is only about half of what it was in the 1930’s, but the crime rate is still pretty high isn’t it?

Yeah the crime rate is still high but its falling a lot over the last 18 months or so. The fact is that the city was violent in the 1930s as well. My grandmother told me that when she was a little girl, her school playground was in a chain link cage. For that matter, cities in the bible were violent.
