How do you think he’ll do? I know Deal is not a true Republican that Georgia deserves.
It’s hard to tell. I don’t get the sense that many people beyond the Chamber of Commerce really like Deal.
Libertarians in Georgia typically get 2 or 3 percent of the vote, but I believe there was a public safety commission candidate a couple of years ago who got well into the double digits when there was only one other candidate on the ballot.
I think Hunt has talked about getting 5 percent of the vote. That wouldn’t surprise me, and again, the one time I saw him speak he really emphasized Georgia’s runoff system, telling people they could vote for him in the general election and for Deal in the runoff.
