SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) A major fire is burning at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County. Smoke can be seen billowing from the site by cameras in the area. Several fire departments are reportedly on the scene battling the blaze. Sources tell KDKA that the National Park Service office at the memorial is what is burning. WTAJ-TV reports that all National Park Service employees were evacuated safely. CORRECTION: Officials said the fire is at park headquarters, not visitors center.

Generally with smoke that black it is not just ‘wood’. high molecular weight hydrocarbons (oil/plastics/carbon-based chemicals) have a characteristically black smoke.
Be interesting to read what caught fire.

If it's a major fire, I'd say "security stinks" and :fire protection" stinks. I would think it's a Masonry building.
Wonder if all the computers exploded??

There’s still a lot of construction going on there. Probably some construction equipment or materials that caught fire.

What can burn? It's concrete and pavement.
