But conservatives should beware that Thom Tillis of NC has stated his main goal if he gets to DC is to chair the NRSC, and Tillis' history in the NC General Assembly is of trying to oust conservative legislators and he is far more viciously anti-conservative than anyone we have seen so far at NRSC.

You’re right up to the point about Jim Bunning. I loved Jim Bunning, but he was becoming senile and risked our losing a GOP seat in 2010 when he was pushing 80 (older than Pat Roberts is now).
RINOs are not an opposition party to the left. They are the left. So donating to them promotes liberalism not conservatism.
