...Obama and his administration allow open borders to hasten the transmision of disease and pestulance and wants the people to scream for the government to help them."

Obama at an immigration rally yesterday:

Fired Up Obama to Immigration Activists: 'No Force On Earth Can Stop Us'

Obama, "Keep'em coming."

> Well, we have a hundred - probably more - potential exposures in Dallas. Any idea how many are likely to actually develop the disease?

Probably only a few: the four family members quarantined in the apartment are at the worst risk since they still have the patient's soiled sheets, towels, etc. in the apartment.

"The authorities" turned away a cleaning crew from the apartment because "they didn't have the proper hazmat permit". Can you believe it? I can....

Turning away a cleaning crew from the apartment because “they didn’t have the proper hazmat permit” is GOOD.

How reputable is WHO? Aren’t they an arm of the United Nations?

Based on the Nigeria number, probably somewhere between 5 and 10. Assuming they’ve got all the exposures tracked down and there aren’t more (movie theater, mall, grocery store, etc)

How many beds can your local high school gymnasium hold?

The game of Ebola Roulette continues...

*click* spin *click* spin *click* spin…BANG!

Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!

Bring Out Your Dead

We’re gonna need

a bigger cart!

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

And like she says “no one is doing anything about it”.

Not true.

The obama administration is doing everything they can to accelerate it.

Bearing in mind that .govs are generally the most inept 'organizations' in the history of mankind:

If control efforts are stepped up in a truly dramatic fashion and prove a stunning success

The only way that happens is IF the bastards survive the attempt to implement the FEMA camps/caskets scenario.
Everyone of 'em that tries it should be shot on sight.

I got it. LOL I think people kind of feel like they are being swarmed.

The CDC plays whack a mole with ebola. Except the mole wins.

So avg hospital stay of 6.4 days with a 90% kill rate.

What happens to hospital days if we get better at treating the patients? How long are survivors in the hospital?

Here’s hoping those 5 or 10 have been properly quarantined, and treated with appropriate precautions and protocols.

If we really see an out of control pandemic, it’ll be the inner cities that get depopulated first. Followed by the suburbs, exurbs and then rural areas.

Demographically speaking, it’s easy to figure out what populations take the brunt, and when ...

Some are already kinda there. It’s kinda like watching a couple of slow moving trains heading for a head on collision.

Or maybe a bad movie, where the end is too obvious.

The CDC in Atlanta, meanwhile, released a new model for the spread of the deadly virus. Its worst-case scenario estimates that up to 1.4 million people could be infected by the end of January. If control efforts are stepped up in a truly dramatic fashion and prove a stunning success, however, the epidemic could be almost over by that time.

Considering how the medical community in this country handled its first case of Ebola, I'm not so hopeful that it will be *almost over* in January.

why do I have this suspicion that won’t go away that this ebola situation was not all by accident.

You're not the only one but admitting that will get you labeled as a kook and conspiracy theorist.
