You are only partially right. Cruz ALONE can not save us, but with our participation he will.

Two additional pleasures of living in Texas are having the honor to vote for both Cruz and Gohmert!

I wish I could agree, but I cannot.

Our society has become so stupid and pointless and dishonest and sinister.

I believe Jesus Christ can save us, and no one else.

I am not even a particularly religious man either, and I am as serious as I can be.

Without Him we are done.

As Rush likes to say, “he lives in Realville”. In Realville Jesus is not and will not be on the ballot. Continuing to only look for perfection is a fools errand.

I prefer to practice the Biblical verse that “God helps those that help themselves”

It’s not that I’m looking for perfection

Although I am a person who is not willing to hold the nose and vote for smelly republicans anymore.

What I mean to say is that I think that this country is so far gone, not only our government, but our people in particular, that the election of anyone to any office at any time is not going to save us.

I really respect Ted Cruz and would vote for him in a snap, but he is not he cure for what ails us.

Jesus is.

We have strayed so far from the Shepherd, we are truly lost in the forest.

What we have lost is love and respect for our Lord, and without that our downward spiral is going to continue.

Sorry, but that quote is not from the Bible. Benjamin Franklin was one of many who made that quote famous.

Thanks, its always good to get better information.

To simply rely on God’s Grace lacks personal responsibility and narcissistically assumes they will be the one granted Grace.

In the context of who wins a political vote, although it is by God’s Grace we have such ability and freedom to vote, it remains our responsibility to vote and more importantly vote properly.
