The article includes the Range's extraordinarily well written explanation of the reasons for its policy, which very sensibly explains why Islam should not be protected by the Constitution's religion clauses. The range's owner is clearly expecting at least a lawsuit. I hope that's the only attack made on her, though I suspect that if some other kind is made she'll be ready for it.

Muslims could still be welcome. As long as they are limited to appearing as targets.

I went to the range. I carried 2 matching Rugers and 8 magazines each holding 7 rounds. I stood among 8 men, all equally armed. Each of them LEGAL permit holding gun owners.
I felt, as did they, as safe as I did sitting at home watching TV. Maybe SAFER, as I don’t have a gun in my hand at home.
This range operator is 100% correct in her action.
The ACLU will be marching very soon.

Well written, but logically flawed.

I have no way of looking at Islam other than as a theocracy, not a religion.

A theocracy is by definition a religion. It is more than a religion, to be sure, but doesn't cease to be a religion because it's also political, legal, etc.

IOW, theocracies are a subset of religions.

I'd be ok with a campaign to remove theocracies from 1a protection. Let's start ramping up to amend the Constitution appropriately.

Just keep in mind that some government agency or court will then be empowered to determine which religions are really theocracies. Do we really want that?

This could be dangerous. I mean, if Muslims are banned from killing practice at gun ranges, they’ll have to resort to beheadings! Oh, wait...

Jan Morgan you’re my type of dame. Someone must have the guts to be the first and you are the one. God bless you.
I would feel safe at your range.

“The ATF informed us when we received the license that if we feel any reason for concern about selling someone a firearm, even sense that something is not right about an individual, or we are concerned about that persons mental state, even if they pass a background check, we do not have to sell that person a gun.”

Sounds like she is following BATF guidance.
