Sorry, didn’t mean to direct this at your post specifically, that’s why I added all but I understand.

It just goes to show the influence media, including local medias have on folks. Plus, the influence of social media by the left these days and how many people fall for all of it. It’s really an issue about nothing, since most DC politicians have homes around Washington these days but when you take in to account all the shenanigans going on in this race, you see a pattern and this is just part of the left’s pattern to try to defeat Roberts and help keep Harry Reid in power. Personally, I don’t want anything to do with helping to keep Dingy Harry in power.

Like I said, I have no problem with Roberts. He won his primary with no vote fraud against who, Wolf, who ran a lousy campaign. Roberts is now an insider, but he has a conservative voting record.

I, too, have had my fill of Reid. I hope Kansans get their act together before the election.

I hope so too.

I’m actually starting to see some grumblings by democrats on local social medias for not having a democrat party candidate specifically on the ballot. I guess we’ll see how that ends up affecting this race.

Could it not be that most Conservatives just don’t want anything to do with Roberts? I admit I don’t live in Kansas but from what I’ve read Roberts is very much detested by the majority of the Republican base and apparently for good reason it would seem. Me thinks the GOP-e screwed up big time and backed the wrong pony (or would that be NAG in this case) back in the primary?!

Best analysis yet on this thread.

I concur! It was spot on.

One Democrat had filed suit trying to force the party to name a replacement. A three judge panel ruled yesterday that the Democrats didn't have to. One of the reasons why they ruled against the plaintiff could be the fact that he didn't bother showing up for the hearing. Long story short, I doubt that a whole lot of Democrats in the state are angry about not having a Democrat on the ballot to vote for.

Roberts is far more conservative than most of the GOP establishment, but he is certainly one of them from the standpoint of time in Washington and willingness to support the party leadership.

Kansans were (and are) upset that he has forgotten his state except for constituent services and chores that he does for the agri business and aviation lobbyists. Liberal Republicans (there are many of those in this state) are supporting Greg Orman because he is even more liberal than are they. Conservatives are supporting Greg Orman because they haven’t heard that the primary is over and/or they have no idea what they are doing.

I hate to see him lose. He’s got a lot of people trying to help him win who’s opinion I respect.

Yeah, I saw that ruling, it was another leftists case like the definition of “is” is. It’s just more liberal big government officials trying to help liberal big government move forward.

I’m just reporting my observations, you’d think there were some sane democrats out there but who knows.
