Great job officer!

The formula is simple - cops who protect and serve the citizenry are great people worthy ofr respect; cops who abuse their authority and the citizenry are bad people not worthy of respect.

The majority of police, like this hero cop, fall into the first category.

Sorry but a hero endangers his or her life while performing an unselfish voluntary act. There has to be risk of injury or death involved to qualify for the hero status.
