The Justice Department is not expected to bring civil rights charges against George Zimmerman in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin, according to three law enforcement officials, despite allegations that the killing was racially motivated.

The federal investigation of Zimmerman was opened two years ago by the department’s civil rights division, but officials said there is insufficient evidence to bring federal charges. The investigation technically remains open, but it is all but certain the department will close it. …

That’s because there isn’t any evidence of such. I expect the Ferguson cop’s investigation will have the same result.

Holder resigns and threatened civil rights charges disappear. It’s magic.

I’ll bet Officer Wilson won’t even be indicted for the Brown shooting, much less “civil rights” violations...

After all the BS surrounding the case, I now hope the shooting is found to be justified.

Heck, why aren’t they doing a child abuse investigation?

I know, sounds silly. But, remember that idiot judge told the jury they could consider child abuse charges in the verdict, because Trayvon was 17, or legally not yet an adult, at the time of the shooting???

true, but I don't know why that would matter to Holder's cronies.

I don’t know when the grand jury will issue their findings.

But, the liberals, Al Sharpton, etc. will be pissed off at anything other than an indictment for first degree murder.

If there is no indictment at all, they will be angry. Maybe they will be in the streets.

If there is an indictment on a lesser charge, such as negligent homicide rather than murder, they will still be angry, and may still take to the streets.

And, if there is a trial, anything other than conviction on the most serious charges will get the liberals and race baiters and rioters worked up yet again.

It could be that.

Or maybe Eric Holder is too much of a coward to deal with racial injustices.

Then again it could be the innocence thing.

And still no one will hire him for any job so he can support himself. They did succeed at ruining his life and his marriage.

Liberals have so much invested in their narratives of events.

They decided that Trayvon Martin was a racial shooting. Without knowing all the facts, they weighed in with their snap judgement that it was racism.

Ditto with the Michael Brown shooting — shoot off their mouths without knowing exactly what went down.

Liberals get invested in their narratives. Liberals can never say they were wrong about their view of a subject. Liberals can never admit that the evidence they didn’t know about at first can be game changers as far as the legal system is concerned.

And their narrative is all set. If Zimmerman does not face civil rights violations charges, the liberals will claim it is due to racism.

If the officer in the Michael Brown shooting is not indicted, or indicted but not convicted, again, they will say the system of justice is racist.

Liberals believe in their narratives of events, not the facts of cases before them.

He should do some more art while his name still has the cache to sell it. That piece he did before wasn’t bad.

The Justice Department has helped to ruin this innocent mans life, so at this point - what difference does it make?

"And still no one will hire him for any job so he can support himself. They did succeed at ruining his life and his marriage."

While that is true, Zimmerman has not done himself any favors with his public actions since the trial ended.

He needs to copyright his name, and sell an engraved sub-compact 9mm licenced through kel-tec or other manufacturer.

“Public actions”? You mean what the liberal media has tried to provoke?
