Well, his sister says that he told them when he checked in, because he had no SS#. I wonder if there are so many Liberians in the Dallas area that it was overlooked? Can’t profile these people.

BS, they are lying. Nobody ever even asked where this guy had traveled. They just wanted him out of the ER. busy with more important issues. I know I used to work at a major hospital!

That was my first impression too. “Get him outta here.”

Many years ago, I worked for an emergency room physician. They often sent problematic patients off with minor treatment or none at all . Little old ladies from nursing homes, for example, they’d tell the ambulance drivers to take to another hospital because they were obviously going to die very soon and the ER people did not want to be saddled with the paperwork.

In this case, they might have had suspicions of Ebola and wanted the patient to leave immediately.

What we have is government structure that is so sure to the point of Arrogance that it can contain such an occurrence as this. Maybe they will be right this time. Maybe they won’t. But It is not hard to think up exposure situations where it could all get out of hand. What if this person had boarded a flight(or a bus or a train) from one US city to another while he showed minor symptoms. The possibilities are endless.

Besides authorities are really saying that it is acceptable if 2 or 20 people die as long as the virus does not exceed contaminating a certain number of people.

For this reason they are not attempting to control travel from hotspots in the world.

I think that is sad really.

"Maybe they couldn’t understand him because he wasn’t speaking espanol."

LOL! Political correctness has consumed America. People are afraid to exercise their natural thoughts and behaviors.

This is a happy happy day for Bill Gates!

Less population, more for the elites.

Al Gore and “He who walks behind the rows” is probably pretty glad that some Americans will die and ‘decrease the surplus population.’

Only the rich Left who believe in the Man Made Climate Change Scam are supposed to live...

That’s a crock. Doesn’t work that way with EMTALA they’d be stuck with a suit plus $$$,$$$.00 fine for every violation. They were asked at triage, at registration and probably again during the visit for exposures and recent travel. Especially now with the electronic med record that has you fill out every little tab.

This is just infuriating me. There is no freaking way that he only came into contact with 12-18 people in the four days that he was infectious. Just the ER visit alone will be at least 18. Plus his family, the five kids (assuming also family)... and that’s if he stayed home the entire time.

He got it from one freaking cab ride with an infected individual!
