I was once inside similar shaped cooling tower at the Gavin Coal Plant in Ohio while it was running. It is a "bit humid" in there just above all the sprinklers. The hardest part was convincing some college kid on the tour to walk in first in the cloud of water vapor when we couldn't see anything past 1 foot. It took a 2x4 to pry the door open against the natural draft.

Be careful. Cooling tower mist can be quite deadly due to mold
