Now I am glad I didn’t do that! He found a job, and it is very low pay, at least for now, but he would be having to pay back that subsidy.

In states with expanded medicare, you are kicked into medicare with income below 138%. Once your income is over 138% of the poverty level then you can buy subsidized insurance. If your income is over 400% of the poverty level at the end of the year then all subsidies taken would be have to be paid back. People are suppose to notify the exchanges right away with any change in income. If your making $12 a hour and then get a $2 raise, it isn't a big deal. If you jump to $25 dollars a hour mid year, you're not going to lose all subsidies for the current year. You will lose the subsidies for the next year.

So, why in hell didnt obamacare cover the poorest folk like they did the people who earn a little more? Why did they make it instead that the po’ folk had to be kicked into medicaid?

I KNOW why. The po’ are being used as a bribe to make red state gubners, from states of people who did not want obamacare to begin with, to try and make these gubners do the work for obama to make obamacare work. And at the same time, give liberal dogs something to beat Republicans with, as if it is the fault of the Republicans that the po’ dont have their obamacare.
