Secret Service follows the Obama scandal playbook

Whatever else is going on at the Secret Service, they've got the Obama Administration scandal playbook down pat, which is really depressing.

1. Lie about what happened - They not only misled the public about how far Omar Gonzalez penetrated the White House, they apparently were less than forthcoming with Congress. According to CBS News, "a congressional official told the Associated Press that Senate Judiciary Committee staffers who were briefed a week after the incident by the Administration were never told how far Gonzalez made it into the building." At today's hearings, House Oversight chair Darrell Issa (R-CA) referred to the initial statement from the Secret Service as an "early false report."

That's putting it mildly. We went from an unarmed man who jumped the White House fence and got stopped at the front door to a man with a knife in his pocket penetrating the White House all the way to the Green Room, on a path that took him right past the stairs leading up to the First Family's residence. (By a stroke of luck, they had left the White House just a few minutes before the intrusion.)

2. Dribble out the truth - Even after that "early false report" started to fall apart, the Secret Service kept as much of the truth under lock and key as possible. We only know that Gonzalez was able to overpower one of the Secret Service agents in his path because a whistleblower told Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) about it. And only after the hearings were well under way did we learn the amazing detail, not provided willingly by Secret Service director Julia Pierson voluntarily through testimony, that Gonzalez was stopped by an off-duty Secret Service agent from the Obama daughters' security detail.

I don’t think the Secret Service is trying very hard to protect Obama.

“Maybe the would be capliph is trying to martyr himself.”

The 12th Mahdi doesn’t need protection. Allah will watch out for him.

Check out this video if you want to know why the doors were left unlocked. Obama didn’t want this to happen again in front of the cameras.

Nah. The idea is to have an ‘excuse’ for blocking the public completely from access to the White House, so that we can’t SEE who is coming and going.

Remember the cancelling of public tours of the White House ?

This is just the next step. It is why the Obamas managed to ‘slip out’ of the White House just prior to the ‘break-in’. It is why Roof Sniper didn’t fire a shot.

It’s all a setup.

Now that they’ve got a woman director, things go the way they do wherever there’s a woman in charge. Abu Ghraib, for instance. Don’t know if it’s the woman, or the male underlings taking advantage of the woman; but there’s a pattern.

They worry that Obama’s life is not safe in their hands....To wit, I respond, Who cares? I could honestly care less whether he is safe or not. I am not worried about him being turned into a martyr because it will be some lefty fool, or muslim who “offs” him anyway.

Now the Secret Service has a pissed off NSA, CIA, and Pentagon to worry about, after he used them as scape goats.

Those are not the types you want really pissed off and afraid for our country as well as themselves.

Surprised that Eric the Corrupt hasn’t launched an investigation for a hate crime as this is the second “White Hispanic” that has attacked the White House. Those “White Hispanics” have it in for blacks and semi-blacks, that’s just the way they are....probably genetic.

I thought that the Secret Service Guarded the First Family and there was other security for the white house and grounds. The elevator thing is on the Secret Service though.

Sorry, next time we'll lock the door: Secret Service chief apologizes for 'unacceptable' breaches that allowed knife-wielding fence jumper to get 'half of a White House tour'

"I don’t think the Secret Service is trying very hard to protect Obama."

I think it's more of a "equal opportunity" hire just like Obama himself.

From Within Arm's Length by Dan Emmett, a memoir of a Secret Service agent's activities over some twenty-one years, reflecting upon his retirement in 2004:

"It was no longer enough for an agent to be merely good at his or her work. In the new Secrret Service, anyone aspiring to upper-level management also had to be a diplomat, politically correct, and sensitive to the concerns of various special interest groups that seemed more concerned at times with pushing their agendas than doing their work"

Pretty much describes what's bringing the country down all over.....

I think the S.S. was really just trying to beat Slick-Willy Bill Clinton’s record of “ How Many Bimbos can we get in one night!” D.A.
