Why don't you try reading her stuff and find out?
Paglia is an extremely bright, rare bird -- a woman who is honest about what feminism is (e.g. she calls abortion "murder" and says the Left ought to own up to it as such). While I don't agree with her on many things, her writing is always worth reading. She is interesting, literate, and has a point of view worth listening to regardless of your own point of view.
She pisses off her feminist colleagues and calls a spade a spade (or possibly a "f***ing shovel"). That gets her some points in my book.
In sum, it is worth your while to find out what a "dissident feminist" is.

Well, it was sarcasm that led to my comment. And while I applaud literacy, I tend to lump the feminist movement with things like, the LGBT movement, climate alarmists, liberals, enviro’s, etc.....some of the very things that have done nothing but exacerbate America’s problems.
+1.
