Mz Clinton may be getting a boost from the TV series, Madam Secretary.
What I see is a move to have Mr. Obama serve several more years as President. Social media, and mass media in general has great power over the low information voters.
The TV appearance will help in Mr. Obamas major and successful fundraising efforts, not for the trumpeted support for Democrats but for his own uses.

Maybe, but right now all efforts by this administration - even this stupid cameo by the reptilian Valerie Jarret, are directed at staving off disaster this November. IMO
