I think you nailed it. Ball players, race car drivers get concussions all the time and none of them wear any special eye glasses.

My glasses are for astigmatism which is real bad even after cataract surgery on both eyes you only get a mono vision for a middle distance lens. I wear fashionable simple no line. Or blended lenses as they are called. Mine would be a coke bottle thickness if not for feather weight. And I buy the BEST ZEISS lenses, which has the widest middle distance field of any on the market. No box store crap for me.
