I would like to do the same thing, hubby is going to build me a large waist high platform for my green beans this spring. I can no longer bend over to harvest well. We found you could use those plastic kiddie wading pools for planters if you put a few holes in the bottoms. It will produce enough for the 2 of us.
And since I can no longer digest a lot of raw stuff there is no sense growing it.
