The parents of slain 18-year-old Michael Brown said Saturday that, almost two months after his shooting, they remain deeply skeptical that they will receive justice for their son through the local prosecutor, and they have more faith in the federal probe into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Members of Browns family said they have still had almost no interaction with the Ferguson Police Department or St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch.
Two days after Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson released a video apologizing to the family for the fact that Browns body lay in the street for several hours after he was shot on Aug. 9, Browns parents said they have not watched it.

.... Well .... I don’t think they will have to worry ..... I’m sure Napolitano will have their six when she is sworn in .....
That’s because despite Holder’s resignation, they know the Obama Justice Department can be counted on to railroad an innocent police officer.

Why should they be interacting with the PD or DA? They were not involved or present when the son committed robbery and violently assaulted the officer. It’s up to the Grand Jury.
Wasn’t Brown living with a grandmother? Seems Brown’s situation was similar to Trayvon’s, in that the parents didn’t live together and the sons lived with other people. In Trayvon’s case, I think the woman who had raised him since before pre-school age actually kicked him out for always being in trouble and he went to live with his dad.
I think the Browns have seen how Trayvon’s parents have taken advantage of the public, gotten in the news and made a lot of money, so now the Browns want to do the same.
It is galling to think that trash like this raised this thug, and are now sitting around preening themselves in their faux moral superiority because the thug they raised came to a thug’s natural end.
It’s the “Just Us” Dept and they will make sure that the white cop is in prison.
Confident in Justice probe OJ winks.
