Kind of a parable, isn’t it?
I say to you.
The village elder who knew of God but denied Him stood before the people and held his pride up for all to see.
His pride, a gift from those who he had deceived, lept from his arms and fell to the ground and died.
Rich is the man who does not deceive.
Rich is the man who fears the Lord.
