“Drunk young wimmin who regret their bad personal decisions later when sober and then decide to blame the guy for it when they read about all these other false accusions?”

There’s a technique that smart(er)? guys have been using for a while now - using their cell phones/devices to record asking said wimmins “If they wanna ****?” and keeping that as evidence against “Oh, I changed my mind” charges. Not pretty, but it could save one from a HUGE mess.

Welcome to Amerika!

RE:”If we didn't out-right laugh at her stupidity, we felt sorry for the boy as several of her girl-friends also made accusations against him leaving us to think these girls were out to get him.”

I mean she gets sympathy on campus from other young women, not here.

I didn't even mention how she waited two years to raise a stink about this.

I guess the idea behind this is that the more women who make questionable claims the more we should be convinced its true, well at least other women should.

‘You men just don't GET IT!’

Coudnt young college women just share on Facebook the guys names who they think are too aggressive so the others can decide not to jump into bed with them, and just tease the passive guys in their beds?

At parties, my son’s frat only hangs out with their sorority sisters. If they meet a girl outside the tribe”for lack of a better term” they are not allowed to bring the young woman back to the house.

My son told me they don’t tolerate boorish behavior and if someone does something that could be construed as immoral, unethical or illegal, that individual gets his walking papers. They drink, but they take keys.

Repeats the lie that 1 in 5 of college co-eds are sexually assaulted.

It all depends on how you define "sexually assaulted". These days, many women would classify being asked out by a man they don't find attractive as "sexual assault".

I bet all the statistics she mentions are out right lies too.

If you think these are outright lies you have no idea what is happening on college campuses these days. Girls can't put their glass of coke down on a table because there's so much date rape drug around. It's not just the fraternities and the football team. There are foreign students who think girls are fair game if they're not wearing a head scarf. From what I hear it's almost as bad at the academies too.

BTW - the girl who is missing in Charlottesville, VA - the chief suspect in that case was thrown out of Liberty University for raping a girl.

Basically, decent men can't imagine what happens every day on college campuses.

Its good to see some sanity returning. For too long immoral behavior has been promoted within our universities.

They are forcing the frats to become co-ed that have houses on the actual campus grounds. The frats that have houses that are not on campus are not being forced to become co-ed.

I expect any frats affected by this edict(that sounds so communistic), to be finding houses off campus very soon...

Here’s an idea: if you don’t go to any frat parties, you stand zero chance of being raped at a frat party.

Maybe colleges should consider banning duplicitous women. But then who would fill their Gender Studies lectures?

If you have a wingman, it is OK. But girls have a terrible habit of getting trashed before they go out. There are also frats with a roofie reputation.
When I was in a fraternity, we had that “I wouldn’t do that if I were you” switch. That has disappeared from a lot of people.

Briefly pledged a sorority on campus in the Deep South in the 90’s. The snob sisters told me I couldn’t sit with my non-sorority friends at lunch (my “disreputable” crowd of book nerds and Reagan Republicans) and that was the end of that.

One of the requirements to keep the sorority on campus: it was expected (from the University!) that was that a group of sorority girls was expected to “entertain” a prospective high school football player at dinner at a local restaurant. I saw one of these with my own eyes where six pretty white girls cooed over one somewhat overwhelmed young black football player to entice him to sign up for the University at an Applebee’s.

Hell yes, get rid of the frats and sororities.

My daugther is going to college next year. Unfortunately, the colleges with the programs she’s interested in have big Greek populations.

I just hope she can be happy at those places being independent. She’s going to join Campus Crusade immediately, and she hopes to find a good church quickly.

I wish the Greek system would die.

The potential for abuse here is astounding. I wonder what “sexually assaulted means?’ I mean, I know what it should mean but what if a co-ed is propositioned in a rude way, does that count?

As for abuse, there was a male student at my College accused of sexually assaulting a co-ed. His name was scrawled on every women’s room stall on campus and, ultimately, he was expelled over the outcry. Trouble is, his parents did not take it lying down. They sued the school and the co-ed. Under deposition the co-ed was forced to put her story on the record. The problem with her story? The student in question was away from campus for a WEEKS due to illness, the very week he was supposed to have committed the crime. He had been shouting that the entire time. As a matter of fact, the police even believed him enough not to charge him. Did anyone in the administration listen? No way. It was about “doing something.” Well, they did something all right, they ended up paying his family enough to send him to another college and issuing a very public and embarrassing apology in the school paper. Ahh, but the co-ed remained, graduated and was treated by the faculty as a hero.

This has been big news in Wisconsin over the past week. My daughter’s friend was at this party, but fortunately left when she started feeling “ill.”. The frat reportedly used color coded hand stamps to determine who got the roofie laced drinks mixed out of sight of the attendees under the bar.

Get rid of frats? Why stop there, haven’t you heard the latest, all football players are rapists and spousal abusers. Let’s get rid of football too, especially at the College level which only serves as a training ground for the NFL. Think Ray Rice learned his trade in NFL training camp? NO way, he learned it in College. After we get rid of football, then we can move on to soccer, tennis, rugby, badminton, the dreaded chess club, conservatives etc. etc.

I’m an advisory (sic) for a fraternity. It happens more often than you think.

While you sit idly by and neither do nor say anything? You are a real piece of work, there.

Not a fan of fraternity life, or sororities, either. But these figures are inflated. The War on Men continues unabated.

I'm not a fan either but I'd like to know the stats on left wing groups. I remember hearing about the Occupy groups and their rapes and drug use.

I do think the switch is not there and for some it should be but culture has so blurred the lines it isn’t. You are right about girls as well. Stupid people get stupid results.

Well, not really. They are the only “conservative” fraternity on a campus full of raging libs. They want no part of that lifestyle.

If you ever watched “Animal House” they are a cross between the two contrasting frats portrayed. They spend most of their time on philanthropical endeavors.
