Minneapolis Star Tribune Surprisingly Critical of Al Franken
NewsBusters ^ | September 24, 2014 | P.J. Gladnick

The Minneapolis Star Tribune had a reputation for being so far left that they used to be referred to as the Red Star Trubune. Therefore it was somewhat surprising that the Star Tribune yesterday published an article that was not only somewhat critical of Franken but sounded some upbeat notes for his campaign opponent, Mike McFadden.

This is in stark contrast to an article early this month in the University of Minnesota student newspaper, the Minnesota Daily, which lavished praise upon Franken despite the fact he backed out of a campus debate and barely a word about McFadden who agreed to the debate. The tone of the Star Tribune article by Abby Simmons is set with the subheading:

Who is lauded by a State University that has the same credentials.

“Senator” Franken failed to speak out loudly and repeatedly for a full shift to Marxism, which made the Red Star Tribune editorial staff unhappy.

They are worried that Franklin hasn’t hidden away enough votes in the Iron country up north to steal the election again.

HEY, AL---WADDA YA KNOW ABOUT THIS? Hennepin County attorney’s office is investigating whether a private mailbox center in Minneapolis’ Cedar-Riverside neighborhood has been improperly used as an address for more than 140 voters. State records show that 419 Cedar Avenue S. has been used by some of the voters as far back as 2008. [Ed.: In other words, since Al Franken's 2008 campaign.]

===============================================================================

MEMO TO FRANKEN VOTERS As far back as 2008, at the presidential debate in Nashville, Democrat candidate Obama advanced his signature plan that was ultimately enacted (by an historic straight Democrat party-line vote) into the "Affordable Care Act :

OBAMA: "No. 1, let me just repeat, if you’ve got a health care plan that you like, you can keep it. All I’m going to do is help you to lower the premiums on it. You’ll still have choice of doctor.”

Repeated over and over ---- with the promise that every American would be saving $2500.00 on healthcare costs.

Every Democrat enthusiastically chimes in, echoing the same false promises----lock-stepping party loyalty not seen since 1940's-era Europe.

Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn): "people who are happy with their current plan, wouldn't need to change it."

TOWNHALL.COM EXCERPT---some are wondering if Franken's relatively muted response to ISIS actively recruiting soldiers from Minnesota will come back to haunt him in November.

Minnesota has been a hotbed for ISIS recruitment, with over a dozen residents of the Twin Cities traveling to the Middle East to fight for the Islamic State. Two have been killed.

Mike McFadden, his Republican opponent, has jumped on the issue of ISIS in Minneapolis by portraying Franken as ineffectively combating the terror threat.

=================================================

McFadden needs to expose Franken's lockstep support for "immigration reform"----allowing aliens from 144 countries to pour over the border through Mexico. McFadden needs to let MINN voters "immigration reform" means bombarding the US educational system w/ anti-American agit/prop.

US history is being scrubbed from curricula. The WH ding-a-ling's obsession w/ emptying out the Terrorist World into the US is turning US schools into refugee camps........w/ big plans to inculcate the savages w/ hate-America, anti-American ideology....IOW reliable Democrat voters.

REFERENCE--Subversive Texas Textbooks---distributed nationwide--- vilify conservative groups;

Breitbart Texas | 09/10/2014 | Merrill Hope / FR Posted by Rusty0604

In 2006, uber-liberal "Texas Rising" stated its mission: "developing an emerging generation of social justice-minded, informed and engaged leaders is essential to the long-term health of our communities and the development of progressive public policy in Texas."

...a sneak peak at the preliminary Social Studies textbook found including distortions, omissions and half- truths all passing for accurate high school US history...

And there's this gem: "The radical right consists of groups that sometimes gather under the flag of militant anticommunism. Often known as reactionaries, they denounce most forms of government regulation, including progressive taxation and restrictions and industry.mExamples of political groups on the radical right are the John Birch Society, the National States & Rights party, The Christian Crusade, and the Tea Party movement."

Strangely enough, these cream puff radicals who abhor police power would not hesitate to use government police power to enforce the changes they desire.

THIRD WORLD INFILTRATION College Board exams changed history answers... revisionist historians developed different answers to the question of what America’s story is about. From their perspective, at the heart of our country’s history—like the history of any other powerful nation—lies the pursuit of empire, of dominion over others. At its core, say the revisionists, America’s history is about our capacity for self-delusion, our endless attempts to justify raw power grabs with pretty fairy-tales about democracy. ....

NOTE WELL: This terrifying Third World revisionism is straight out of Third World textbooks---emphasizing the T/W effort to undermine US ntl security for the coming armed takeover.

The conniving T/W uses an ancient formula going back to Greco-Roman times---where savages, barbarians and thieves overrun a bountiful country lusting after its power and riches.

REFERENCE Some 10 years back, Texas schools started used Mexican textbooks for their backward illiterate Spanish-speaking students. Textbooks advocated the Mexican perspective including:

<><> anti-white, anti-capitalist anti-USA viewpoints;

<><> Mexican textbooks falsified US history,

<><> proselytized blood-thirsty La Raza savagery;

<><> using teaching as brainwashing;

<><> inculcating violent separatist, latino supremacy idealogy.

==============================================

REALITY CHECK A primetime network news segment focused on an "impoverished" latino mother who paid big bucks to get her son coached to take the College Boards---but he was so stupid, he still couldn't pass them. So the C/B summarily "changed" the tests so that Pedro could pass using subversive Third World hate-filled US history.

Oddly, many “news” orgs long for the days of Bush and Cheney when they could attack with a vengeance. Their mere cheerleading has left them inconsequential.
