When a Jezebel reporter called up the university to ask about a 'high-profile individual who was expelled from her sorority in late April 2013', a representative said 'Was this person, by chance, in Atlantic City last Sunday night?'

Not sure what the rules of disclosure on disciplinary action are, but if I were a university rep, there is no way I would have said that. There are all kinds of privacy laws and regulations to run afoul of.

If it’s a social fraternity I’m not sure why the university would even know.

Hazing charges are serious business, exploiting vulnerable freshmen. Since they're removing NFL players for violence against partners (who are with their partners by choice) certainly she should be removed as Miss America.

Doesn't Miss American have a code of ethics? Years ago, wasn't one removed because some nude photos became public?
