the longer people delay taking responsibility for themselves, the more likely they are to look outside themselves when dealing with a situation.
children look to parents ... adult children look to govt
this is part of the plan by those pushing big govt.
why else would people still be on their parents insurance until 26
The other side of the coin is that MANY parents do not want to let go of their kids. As a result, they have no problem with them living at home will into their twenties. It also helps feed the illusion that they themselves are not getting older. It does tug at the heartstrings when your kids no longer need you, but its far more healthy in the long run.
Personally, I urged both my kids to get out on their own.
