The quote of the week comes from James Clapper, the director of national intelligence. Noting that criticism of surveillance programs forced the government to “throttle back,” he told The Washington Post that means “we are accepting more risk.”
Tapping a deep well of sarcasm, he continued: “We are supposed to keep the country safe, predict anticipatory intelligence, with no risk, and no embarrassment if revealed, and without a scintilla of jeopardy to privacy of any domestic person or foreign person. We call that ‘immaculate collection.’ ”
Bingo!
Clapper’s mission-impossible statement is more than justified, and not just in matters of intelligence gathering. He might have been talking about the public’s view of fighting terrorism, too.
Americans are against terrorism, wholeheartedly. And want to do something about it — halfheartedly.

Israel, Lebanon, part of Syria, and western Jordan presently occupy the land which is encompassed by the term “Levant”.
The “Levant” is considered by Muslims to be key territory belonging to their caliphate. The southern part of the “Levant” during Biblical times was referred to as Canaan.
Using ISIL, rather than ISIS, conveys a message to Muslims that Israel is not to be considered separate or exempt from Islamic ownership, now, or in the future.
To use the term ISIL is a specific act of insult against YHVH, against His Word, and against His people.
ISIS refers to an Islamic State, but ISIL gives that state credibility, right, and boundaries … boundaries that erase Israel as a nation in YHVH’s territory.
Every time I hear Obama or his administration use that term ISIL - I shout, “NO!!” in my spirit.
Someone needs to educate the media and the US citizens to stop using this term.

The reason he will not supply what is needed to fight them is because he stated he would remove our troop from Iraq and democrats can never be wrong. He will resist putting troops in Iraq again to the death. He will not say he was wrong no matter what. He is a slob.

Never has an American leader pursued a war in which his greatest concern was offending our enemy. Theater of the absurd is now official policy.
The government, overall led by an ideology which lives in denial of the fallen nature of man, and the measures needed to deal with it, missed the best opportunity to deal most effectively with ISIS when they were operating with impunity and concentrated apart from a fleeing populace.
But they hardly could be ready to do so as professors and students of said ideology finds the reality of such evil as a very uncomfortable and unwanted reminder of the depravity of man, and greatly resists acknowledging it, and have to be compelled to do something to deal with it, but which is mainly driven by self interest. (This is why liberals will call the police when they are threatened, bit otherwise tend to protest any real visible use of force, and to see those in prison as victims.)
For instead they vainly try to imagine all such evil will just go away by ignoring it, as it is all part of a bygone era which ended with George Bush, who spoke of things as evil or good in a world they only see as good and grey.
And which era has ended with the rising of their political Messiah, her to transform America into His image, and who must reign till he hath put all his enemies (from those who do not subscribe to his victim-entitlement mentality, to raising the flag of Sodom, to those who oppose government mandated diets) under his feet.
