...few movies have focused predominantly on...the sacrifices that military families make each and every day. .. female soldiers who are torn between their important work overseas and their responsibilities to their own families at home.

If Hollywood wants to make a "Ground-Breaking!", "Bold", "Edgy", movie, why not examine the whole premise of 'round peg/square hole' that is inherent in women in the military, let alone mothers in combat.

Then get into what happens when both husbands and wives "pursue their passions" rather than fulfill "their responsibilities to their own families at home."

Responsibility, Commitment, Honor. Now there are a few "edgy" themes for a movie or two.

Yeah, and let’s make a movie about a female vet instead of the much larger population of male vets. Yet another movie for me to ignore.
