I’m not so sure that foreign policy is a primary issue in most voters’ minds (although it should be), but the vulnerable incumbents need to be hammered from every angle. It would be especially pathetic if the GOP did not pick up AR and NC.
It’s one thing to tell a pollster that you’ll vote for Kay Hagan. It’s entirely another thing to get off your couch JUST to vote for Kay Hagan. 100% of her support in 2008 was along for a ride on the Obama hopey-changey train. I would venture to say 90% of the Democrats here couldn’t pick her out of a line-up, since every one of her TV ads are attacks on Tillis.
The pubbies need to start hammering all the rats with Obama, 24/7. Every rat senator voted for Obamacare and the voters need to be reminded of that daily.
