The Brits are bragging about their "wall breacher" tank. We built a couple of prototypes of the "wall breacher" we thought we might need to bust the Siegfried Line: the T28 superheavy tank.
It made the British tank look like a toy Only one of these prototypes still exists. I saw it when it was at the Patton Museum at Fort Knox. It's a monster.

Interesting how the Russians and to a lesser extent Americans copied the basic jagdpanzer design and abandoned it fairly quickly. I always thought the jagdpanzers were good at long range defensive fighting and okay in an offensive role as self propelled guns but that was about it.
