The moon landing was a big yawn, too.

Yes, because we didn’t land on the moon. All that money for a moon landing landed in someone’s pocket. Moon landing biggest lie ever.

This November, Rosetta will deploy a small probe that, if successful, will land on the comet — the first time we've ever made contact with a space rock (intentionally).

Deep Impact

Deep Impact was a NASA space probe launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 18:47 UTC on January 12, 2005.[3] It was designed to study the interior composition of the comet Tempel 1 (9P/Tempel), by releasing an impactor into the comet. At 05:52 UTC on July 4, 2005, the impactor successfully collided with the comet's nucleus. The impact excavated debris from the interior of the nucleus, forming an impact crater.

Except for scientific minds.

The Apollo landing sites have all been photographed from GBT or orbiters and show evidence of human activity all about including footprints and tire tracks of rovers.

The rock species brought back from the Moon are of types and compositions not present on Earth.

The alignment of reflectors for Earth based laser experiments and triangulation with other moon based sites could only have been carried out by human hands.

And why would we have staged landing after landing when all we need have produced is one?

I don’t think any counter arguments you might offer will hold. But you’re welcome to try.

I see very strong evidence that God works within the scientific method. At least from above the quantum level.

Will be an outstanding technical accomplishment to land on that comet. Hope the ESA can pull it off.

their is an awesome picture taken from the lander riding piggy back on Rosetta of the comet off in the background.

‘Who is “we”?’

Humans.

‘Define “space rock”.’

A rock. In space. Like this one.

I was just thinking...it's been four years since Inspector Harry Callahan posted here.

Everything you said in defense of the moon landing, was told to you by the same people who told you we landed on the moon.

So if they lied about landing on the moon, then they would have lied about the footprints, the rock, and the reflectors.

Although I’m not positive we didn’t land on the moon, I’m equally not positive we did, if only because it seems so impossible to have done so with almost no mishaps, and so quickly after starting the space program.

And in any case, if we did it was one colossal waste of money. You seen one rock, you seen them all.

That depends on how far one can discern petrology and mineralogy. These examples, which were many and varied as to location, have given us a lot of information on how the Earth-Moon system came about.

That just doesn’t seem like a small thing to me.

I see Divinity in its workings.

I thought about Deep Impact, then it slipped my mind as I was verifying the Japanese mission name.
