16 is too young to vote.
Period.

eighteen is too young to vote. Perhaps 21 but I would prefer 25.
We have a local gal running for state rep straight out of an ivy as a legacy student, living at home with mum and dad, working at a halftime job to supplement the trust fund. Sweet kid but...
Never supported herself, never paid taxes, never had responsibilities. Convicted leftist like the rest of the family so also has never thought for herself.
sigh
16 is too young to vote.
Period.
I agree.
But if Scotland is like America, the 16 year olds are as qualified to vote as most of the older people who happen to be idiots.
Absolutely. They're just children, for Pete's sake. They have NO idea what they're voting for.
Bingo!!!!
16 may be too young to vote under normal circumstances, but when the issue being voted on is, literally, the way their country will be governed for the rest of those 16 year old’s lives, why shouldn’t they have a say? Either way, after today Scotland will have had her chance to decide on her future.
