I’ve not exactly witnessed a groundswell of demand for Huntsman to run for President. Why is he so convinced? What little I’ve seen of him, he’s not exactly personable. There doesn’t seem to be any strong, motivating issue for him. It seems more of an entitlement mentality than anything else, to me. Can someone shed light on this? It’s something of a mystery to me.

You are right. There IS no groundswell for Huntsman. Not 1 in 10,000 Americans knows him or cares. I believe that like many issues, its the media creating the narrative, for political reasons.

Self-righteous sense of noblesse oblige. Doesn’t think the little people can take care of themselves, thinks it’s up to the nanny state to do it for them.
