“Bring back Tom Delay!”

Delay was a great Whip and leader. Of course he worked under a lucid Gingrich at the time too so it was a great partnership.

After Gingrich, when the gop had the majority, they had a string of dolts ending with the current one.

I’ll point this out...back to the 70s and 80s...you had legislative members of both parties that banded together for items that affected their individual states or regions. Once we got into the Clinton era....that type of ability to work in groups and outside of Republican/Democratic concerns...just plain disappeared. We are at a point today where the Senate is of no use, and probably is harming the nation just as much as the President himself.
