And that’s really what it’s all about.

Completely political.

Roger Goodell is such a feckless and spineless chump he deserves to go down in flames. I hope he loses his job and is replaced by a man.

they’re bringing in several women to work the domestic violence problems. see, its like I always told you, women are superior. men can be police officers, but women can be police officers, and, work these social issues.
men are obviously buffoons who aren’t capable of being hired by the nfl for these types of positions.
why do you think all the sideline reporters are women, men obviously cant handle the fast pace reporting.

No problem here the FR NFL apologist will be along shortly to explain how this is just business.

here’s the story on ESPN- read the comments on the bottom; hysterically true:

“Great!! Finally someone from DC that will bring honesty and transparency to the NFL. The icing on the cake is that Cynthia served under the beloved President Obama, the world’s finest leader and a champion of transparency and leadership. Pardon me while I scurry indoors as to not be struck by lightening. Good Day fellow citizens.”

The time has long since past to starve this Beast. I would urge my fellow Freepers to never spend another dime on the NFL, or the NBA. Better yet, stop watching, and stop talking about it, stop glorifying it in any way. They have become circuses, controlled by the Global Ruling Elite, to distract us from our more important Mission.

The NFL is no different than say the Audobon Society or even the Presbyterian Church USA.

Moonbats gain control and the original organization becomes a leftist device for population control .

Why is the the league’s business ?

Isn’t this between the player and the team owner?

Maybe, just maybe, they should put a “morals clause” in their contracts. Drug usage, wife beating, promiscuity, criminal charges, etc. , all sounds a lot like a contract issue.

The league should be issuing some boilerplate about conduct and contract language (very contract must include X, Y, and Z about conduct and morals) and that is where it should end. The league should be concerned with the game play, officiating, and game rules, not policing the players.

That’s the owners jobs. If the owner’s aren’t doing a good job, ban the teams.

This should just about do it for the NFL.

Rush predicted the 'RATS would bring down the NFL many, many moons ago.

Why doesn’t the nfl just go ahead and sell its self to NOW or women in general. All this is happeneing because they want to expand their appeal to women.

What the hail for?

I don’t care how hard they try women just don’t have the same feel and passion for football that men do.

Stop pandering, dammit...or you will loose more guys than you will gain women.

See what THAT does to your revenue stream, dumbazzes.

Screw that crap, the games have become unwatchable because they call a penalty on every other play.

Its absolutely ridiculus!

The rest of this stuff is just PR window dressing, but the bottom line is Goddell has GOTS TO GO!!

I don’t give a fig for the NFL or NBA, but the thug culture takes root long before the perps get to the pros. Once upon a time the colleges were the gatekeepers. Imperfect as they were, they maintained at least some standards. The television money overwhelmed all that. I’m sure that many colleges and coaches haven’t sold out, but they have to compete with the now well entrenched anything goes crowd. That’s where the remedy should be sought.

The NFL is dead to me.

I’ll watch my grandsons play in the high school games and perhaps some college football, but I am no longer interested in NFL.

The NFL is Liberal? On what planet? I don’t think they have much of a leaning one way or the other but last I saw something like 90% of the Owners gave to GOP and Conservatives only.

Liberal? No.

They should have done this when they first started taking flack for the Redskins name. It takes a liberal lobbyist to shut up liberal politicians.

Why not hire a GLAAD executive, since Goodell forced Jan Brewer to veto the AZ religious freedom act, and forced the Cowboys to sign Michael Sam?
