OTTAWA Prime Minister Stephen Harper rallied his political troops Monday, marking the start of Parliaments fall sitting with a campaign-style rally laden with economic high-fives and tough talk about protecting Canadian values around the world.
With Conservative caucus members and several massive Canadian flags as a backdrop, Harper sang the praises of his governments work in creating jobs, sealing trade deals and cracking down on criminals.

Canada Ping!
But Justin Trudeau saved a butterfly today while on his magical unicorn, as he was on his way to save the world from flame-breathing corporations. Isn’t he dreamy!?!
Correct me if I’m wrong I know the Canadian media is in love with Justin Trudeau, but the liberals aren’t even the largest opposition in Parliament are they? It’s currently the NDP (far-left/communists) that are the official opposition? Does this spell good news for the eventual reelection campaign for Harper and the Conservatives?
Oh , he’s dreamy all right. If he gets elected he’s be a nightmare.
They see the NDP as just some fringe party from the Maritimes that got lucky, and that really the liberals just needed some quiet time so they can take their rightful place ruling over Canada.
If the NDP puts op a real fight for the seats they hold, the Libs will have a tough time despite the media up there almost ignoring them. But without Jack Layton, you never know if they really were just a passing fancy.
The Liberals’ problem is they’re a tired brand. And Justin Trudeau is not popular in Quebec.
