I am so sick of this latest NFL “issue.”
The only Rice I want to hear about anymore is Uncle Ben’s.

Well, it is getting to the point that when the NFL is not on the playing field, it makes its appearance called “NFL issues” of the week.
Now you know why I like all the more college football.

I like his NFL stuff. I think it’s an important issue - far greater than sports. It’s about the usual left wing attack on a successful business and the usual left wing attack on men and masculine sport.

Just started getting into college game.
I have resisted for years, except a simple interest in Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa State Cyclones, and maybe UNI Panthers. But, with my boycott of the NFL, I needed to get my football thirst quenched.
I watched the USC Bostob College game. Disappointed that USC lost in the las minutes.

David Limbaugh’s book sounds like a replay of ground that Simon Greenleaf broke a hundred fifty years ago and which John Warwick Montgomery has continued:
“Greenleaf is an important figure in the development of that Christian school of thought known as legal or juridical apologetics. This school of thought is typified by legally trained scholars applying the canons of proof and argument to the defense of Christian belief.
“Greenleaf’s ‘Testimony of the Evangelists’ set the model for many subsequent works by legal apologists. He is distinguished as one who applied the canons of the ancient document rule to establish the authenticity of the gospel accounts, as well as cross-examination principles in assessing the testimony of those who bore witness to the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.
“His style of reasoning is reflected in the apologetic works by John Warwick Montgomery, Josh McDowell, and Ross Clifford.”

Nothing new perhaps, but interesting to hear a well known public figure discussing apologetics.
