“Bob Crane at a Southern Baptist convention” ?

“Colonel Hogan”, that Bob Crane, who died like 20 years ago? I know he was a bad boy in private life, but that reference is so dated and mostly obscure that I am wondering if he’s talking about somebody else.

Brilliant example of the incompetence of the conservative movement. The writer makes an analogy about an actor that died decades ago, that was in a forgotten sitcom decades before that.

People don't understand what the hell we're talking about!

Karl Rove did the same thing on TV about a year ago. He compared the White House Obamacare strategy to the Union Army's strategy in the battle of Vicksburg in the Civil War.
