Nearly 70 percent of Americans say they lack confidence that the U.S. will achieve its goals in fighting the terrorist group ISIS, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll. The findings come in the wake of President Barack Obama’s national address announcing new measures to combat the Sunni militants.
The poll – conducted before the latest execution emerged – showed that a combined 68 percent of Americans say they have “very little” or “just some” confidence that Obama’s goals of degrading and eliminating the threat posed by ISIS will be achieved. Just 28 percent said they had “a great deal” or “quite a bit” of confidence.
The poll also shows that 38 percent of voters approve of Obama’s job in handling foreign policy.

Good grief! That means there are still 32 percent who are stupid enough to believe a Muslim is going to lay waste to a Muslim. Leadership? Obozo couldn't lead himself out of a tunnel.

I absolutely believe he finds ISIS a distraction. Even FDR had enough sense to know that when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor that it became a top priority. Obama, no doubt sees their threat as a perception problem. He would no doubt rather Americans ignore it. The outrage over the death of Foley and genocide of Christians in Iraq caught him by surprise.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama consulted with ISIS before his speech.

Obama must go!!! There will be no “real” “Coalition of the Willing” under Obama!!! Bottom line.....Obama could care less about those poor, beheaded innocents, and all the American people!!! And....Republicans, let the Democrat Party get rid of Obama, by forcing him and Biden to resign immediately!!! And....if they refuse to resign...let the Democrats lead the effort to impeach them!!!

But....since, I know the Democrat Party & media will stick with the anti-hate-America, Obama, as he continues to destroy our great nation...here is something, that is quite easy & painless, “we the people” can do to save both ourselves and our nation!!!
This coming election day, November 4, 2014....every American citizen/voter, regardless of political stripe, should cast their votes against every & all Democrat candidates running fpr elective office!!! Doing so....enmasse, will effectively destroy the Democrat Party politically...and with it, Obama, too, will become totally powerless, politcally!!! DO IT!!!!
What a bizarre place America has become. Poll respondents express little to no faith in Obama’s ability to accomplish anything well, yet he has 49% job approval in today’s Rasmussen poll.
So in short, Americans think he’s doing a crappy job across the board, but half approve of his job performance.
This country is in a very weird zone right now.
We’re eventually going to be hit with a Beslan- and/or a Mumbai-style attack. Since this gaggle of idiots can’t or won’t stop it, I hope and pray it won’t affect anyone I know and love.
Probably right. What will be the reaction by people if a hundred people are rounded up in a theatre or school and are killed by Islamonutjobs? There will be a full court defense of Islam by the left for starters. They'll blame the gun culture. They'll blame Bush.
He’s stated ISIS isn’t islamic so he’s following through with his promise to stand by his muzzy bros. Scary that 1/3 can’t see this.
