There’s some consolation in knowing he’s been barred for life from holding public office. For a democrat politician, this is like saying he can never work again, since they have few marketable skills unrelated to taxing, lying, and living large.

I met Wright once when he spoke at the Silicon Valley Members Council of the NRA. He was an Assemblyman at the time representing South-Central LA (the hood). Even though he was a liberal on most other issues, he was very pro-gun rights. I can’t help but wonder if that had something to do with his prosecution. To quote Shakespeare, I fear worse will come in his place.
