Was in Pueblo recently-what a s@#$hole! Pueblo West, however, was very nice. Really enjoyed the stay; attended the local WELS Lutheran church. Is there a difference in the demographics between the two towns?

I grew up in Pueblo. We lived on the opposite side of Pueblo West out on “The Mesa”. More farm country than prairie. Anyway, to answer your question, Pueblo is like any other place... Some parts of town are good and others are not. Unfortunately, there seems to be more bad places than good these days. My dad finally packed it up after 64 years and moved way south of town. I don't really miss it...

More recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor are from Pueblo than anywhere else. President Eisenhower suggested that there was something in the water there which promotes valor.

There’s a museum for those heroes, along with larger-than-life bronze statues, at the Convention Center there. Every one of those men still live today, I believe.
