Carr: Anti-war crowd stunningly silent on ISIS plan

I could have sworn we were going to war against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

But the president, a well-known theologian, has informed us that despite what the Muslims of ISIS say, the Islamic State “is not Islamic.” So I guess we’re in a war against SIS — the State of Iraq and Syria. But it still is a war, isn’t it, Mr. Secretary Kerry?

“I think that’s the wrong terminology,” he sniffed yesterday. “What we are engaging in is a very significant counterterrorism operation.”

Does that make it … a police action? Will we have to destroy the village in order to save it?

It’s all very confusing. When George W. Bush considered invading Iraq without a declaration of war, the Democrats wanted to try him for war crimes in The Hague. When Obama does the same thing ... crickets.

Which raises another question: Where exactly is the anti-war movement?

Have you see a single “No Blood for Oil” sign in Cambridge?

To paraphrase the John Kerry of 2004: “Can I get me a candlelight vigil here?”

Whatever happened to Cindy Sheehan? Where is Code Pink? I haven’t seen an “EndLESS War” bumper sticker in years, since 2009 to be exact.

Of course the Anti-War crowd is silent on this, because it isn’t a war according to Obama and Kerry.

Topic is so important to Howie Carr that he spent his first hour today making fun of Sarah Palin and her family. If the existence of ISIS meant higher ratings for Carr he'd wish they were never stopped. He's a sideshow in the world of conservative radio and it's a shame that Mark Levin let's him sub for him occasionally.

In clicking around the internet - particularly social media - it's been supremely amusing to watch the Obamabots twist themselves into pretzels trying to support him, though he is now out front beating the war drum the hardest. Lots of "LoLs" to be had.

Bring war to an end. Draft liberal Democrats! Only liberals are allowed to fight in combat arms, but since the are opposed to violence they only get a bandoleer of pepper spray. They also cannot be trusted with knives because they might cut someone. Instead, these “diversified” liberals will get sporks. They'll have plenty of bottled water and MRE’s.

Not too far off, in truth. Just reinstate the Draft, and the People will stop the war. When the sum total of the sacrifice 99% of the population makes during wartime is a bumper sticker saying they support the troops, war becomes too easy to ignore.

This business of ISIS being a threat to America is overwrought.

Barack Obama and his co conspirators bringing about fundamental change are the immeasurably greater threat than ISIS. The real destruction of America currently under way is far greater than any in the wildest idea if an ISIS wacko.

The presence and influence of Boston is a greater threat to America than ISIS. The wacko Euro influence of the Boston elite and LIV’s is far more destructive than ISIS ann ever think about being.
