There are actually more options than that but that summary is close enough for most races. It is possible for a Republican to go so far left on big issues that it’s worth temporarily losing one seat to get rid of him. I don’t trust “independents “ so I’d be voting for the Republican in Kansas.

I don’t think Roberts has wandered that far off the reservation. He:

1) Voted against Obamacare.
2) Voted against Dodd-Frank
3) Voted against the Porkulus.
4) Voted against Cap and Trade.
5) Voted against BHO’s SCOTUS appointments.
6) voted against Harry Reid.

In addition, Roberts is:

1) Pro-life
2) Pro-tradition marriage
3) Pro-Keystone Pipeline
4) Pro- drill baby drill

I could gone on and on.

I think the above info should be enough to vote for him. Of course he’s not perfect. No one is. I live in CA stuck with Boxer and Feinstein for over 20 years. I would be happy to make a trade!
