... For more than a year, the CIA has run a limited training program in Jordan for small numbers of vetted fighters. The military program would expand on that model and train larger numbers of fighters.
U.S. officials familiar with details of the proposed program say that it is slated to last for one year from the time that Congress authorizes it and passes the funding request.
A senior administration official revealed Wednesday that Saudi Arabia had agreed to host the train-and-equip program. A U.S. official told ABC News that Saudi Arabia will host multiple training sites for Syrian rebel fighters.
Officials acknowledge that the biggest question to be resolved is how the vetting of moderate rebel fighters will be conducted.

Well if we’re going to train and arm future ISIS fighters we might as well let them in on the plan.

I can’t believe people don’t see what is happening. What will it take? Obama is arming the Caliphate so that it can push the Jews into the sea and reclaim the Levant. He’s telling us the plan pretty openly, but it’s so brazen people assume he’s means something else. Well, he doesn’t.

I expected this to be about how many months of training would be devoted to LGBT sensitivity training, how many months on women’s issues, ‘black culture’ education, global warming... etc.
Seriously, I really did.

Why the hell would we train Al Qaeda? Let them and ISIS kill each other off and then we can neutralize the winner.

A senior administration official revealed Wednesday that Saudi Arabia had agreed to host the train-and-equip program. A good move by the Sunni Saudi Arabians to get rid of the Alawite (Shia sect)Bashar Assad.
Then the Sunnis can take over Syria and settle the hash of the muslim heretics, and the Infidel Christians, who are protected by Assad.-Tom

Well if we're going to train and arm future ISIS fighters we might as well let them in on the planIs there any conceivable way that the arms and the trained fighters don't end up with ISIS?

The same location in Jordan where all the current ISIS fighters claim they were trained? The only fighters in the middle east that carry their Kalashnikovs in the Front Patrol Ready position are the Iraqi army and ISIS. That’s odd.

Ok so ISIS has US military equipment confiscated in Iraq by fleeing, defeated Iraqi army. So if we now arm other ‘rebels’ what happens if they surrender or even defect to ISIS? We lose even more equipment to the enemy? This is insane. We need to keep control of our military arms and equipment, period.

"As President Obama laid out his 'strategy' last night for dealing with ISIS in Iraq and Syria, and as bipartisan leadership in Congress push to approve as much as $4 billion to arm the Syrian 'rebels,' it should be noted that the keystone to his anti-Assad policy the 'vetted moderate' Free Syrian Army (FSA) is now admitting that they, too, are working with the Islamic State."

Our government should stop the nonsense and admit we were wrong to
Topple Middle East dictators. Reagan played them off each other like a fiddle. The fp of the us should only benefit us and sometimes this includes supporting dictators who keep the crazies down. Instead we advance the globalist agenda always. We haven't had a true American fp since Reagan.
